My first job as a journalist on work experience was writing the  'Court Report' column for The Independent newspaper and colour pieces over Wimbledon. It led to a long career as a freelance journalist writing features, interviews and analysis for magazines ranging from Ace Tennis magazine to teen title JUMP, the Guardian to TV trade publications, Broadcast, TBI and World Screen News.
